THANK YOU JW!! Over the weekend I was having trouble with my GE washing machine and while I was searching the internet troubleshooting, I came across your post. I was hoping that doing the reset with the lid would do the trick but it didn't. It ended up being a blown fuse in the red/white wire you talked about. I picked up the harness fuse kit today and replaced it. Washing machine is back up and running again. I am so thankful. I have 2 kids and my husband is deployed, so the last thing I needed right now was to pay a crazy repair bill or have to buy a new washer. So thankful I came across your post! Life saver!!
