I feature many appliance service manuals in this blog.
I also feature videos of appliance repairs I deem worthy of showing. Click the videos for full screen viewing. The whole idea is to help in the repair of home appliances by the budget minded homeowner. -JW Webster
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for making this available. Like many late model electronics, production cost takes priority over proper engineering. The attitude is "as long as it makes it through the warranty period, it's good enough". This is the case with component sizing and type used in consumer electronics. Like many, my washer began emitting a high pitched squeal that threw a hum into all other circuits in the house. I knew the power supply in the washer must be failing as I've seen it happen often. Typically, electrolytic capacitors used are of poor quality and sized improperly. They work for a few years, then rapidly fail. If your lucky, odd behavior or sound will clue you in to an issue. If your not so lucky, the capacitors will short and take out the rest of the control board with it.
Thank you for all the information, to JW and to Phil above! Most of you guys are useful, I also found a site here which helped me with some manuals: Home
